Growing up in Lake City, Colorado, where he spent half his years living in a tepee, Colin found peace in the wilderness. Bathing in a cold mountain stream, climbing miles just to reach his home, Colin developed a keen sense of natural beauty, which reflects in his glass. He has had sixteen years to perfect his gift of glass blowing. He currently is a Scientific Glass Blower.
Finally finding her way out of Utah, Brenna found solace in the wilderness of Alaska, where she spent six summers and one winter, which promptly drove her to the warmer climate of Hawaii. On the island of Kauai, she was drawn to a remote valley where she lived off and on for three years. Drinking from rivers, showering in the waterfall, swimming in the ocean with dolphins, and sleeping directly on Mother Earth.
A chance meeting at Anini Beach on Kauai brought these two together. After two years of friendship they moved to California to study Watsu and Massage Therapy. Soon after, they were blessed with a son, Nali. Mak came 18 months later. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, just West of the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater is where they make their home, inspired by the visiting deer, fox, hawk and elk.
Colin's passion for glass finally spilled over to Brenna early in 2008. Fusing is her method of choice. With such a knowledgeable and patient teacher, Brenna is now making a name for herself. Currently featured in Blue Stone Gallery, downtown Denver, they also have over a dozen stores carrying their art.
